Merge the Quasar Cannon and the Laser Cannon
What would you think if the Quasar cannon had two fire modes? A sustained mode to operate like the laser cannon and a overcharged mode to operate like the Quasar cannon normally does. Additionally, when firing a round with the overcharged mode, it is necessary to change the heat sink as we would with any other laser weapon.
I think this could bring some balance to this weapon that is currently too strong, to the point that it makes other weapons that are used for the same purpose useless.

Merge TWO Quasar Cannons so they're like, double ended. Let me fire one and then flip it around like a nunchuk and then fire the other end while the other end recharges.

But I can't flip an Exosuit around like a nunchuk and that was an extremely important part of my design prototype. It would aid recharging.

Totally fking wrong and real skill issue , surely you are carried by randoms in high dif.
Quasar do 2k damage now and not takes 10 segs crunched when needs reload like the RR .
It just good position what you need nothing else
2 shots to blow tanks and canon towers , one shot chargers and 2 for big ones .

How about TEAM RELOAD only in this case some guy with a Laser Cannon sticks it up the ejection port of the guy with the Quasar Cannon, forming the yes, yes;

'course, doing this requires 2x 3x or 4x the charge up time AND cooldown for every Quasar Cannon, but it's so worth it. Oh so worth it. It also has infinite range and accuracy so good it makes atoms duck for cover.

EAT can kill up to 3 heavies in one drop. (drop pod + 2 rockets per drop)

Commando can kill up to 5 heavies in one drop (drop pod + 4 rockets per drop) and the laser guidance system means you don't have to account for drop, just like quasar.

EAT/CMDO Being disposables, you can reasonably pick up another support weapon on the map to use most of the time and call these in when you need to kill heavies. Quasar, RR and SPEAR do not have this luxury

RR reload is staged so you can start reload -> run -> finish reload. RR can also have its reload animation cancelled early (done in less than 5 seconds) and with 8 shots that can be refilled by POIs and supply drops it has the most uptime. When teamloaded it can kill the most heavies in the shortest amount of time. It also deals the most damage of all the anti-tanks. Where something takes 2 EAT/Quasar or 2+ CMDO shots to kill something, RR can do it in one.

SPEAR is like RR in that it will oneshot pretty much everything and can be fired more often than Quasar.

quasar's "infinite ammo" means nothing when it can only kill one heavy or medium at a time, and high diffs are often flinging multiple heavies in your face at the same time so using it against mediums feels like a waste. the wind-up makes you vulnerable and very easy to flinch, which will make you miss, and have to wait another 15.5 seconds at best, 18 seconds on average, 20.5 seconds at worst to shoot again. Bugs will rush you and Bots will flinch you.

Quasar simply is not OP. You are giving up response time, firepower and uptime for that lack of drop and infinite ammo. SPEAR aside, all the other anti-tanks can be fired instantly. Even in EAT's case you can fire it instantly from the hip. Quasar may have better KPM (kills per minute) compared to EAT, but it has worse RPM which you will feel on high diff where multiple heavies spawn together.

Say that when i call 2 quasars in a good defense spot ( extraction ) or a defense mission

RR when you are out of cover vs an entire patrol of gunships is a death sentece , them will no let you reload that thing

Problems flinching ? Use a bubble shield , at high diff. Is mandatory for the crapy hp that we have now , works too for snipers builds.
i have not problems of enemies rushing me because im not suffer of a high skill issue like you bro , so dont tell me your mistakes , i know when i need to shot , not in the midle of a hot spot likes you , first ,run with a light armor if its vs bugs and take a good position
If know learn that you will never be fked with flinchs or any skill issue problem you describe

Laser cannon is actually a fantastic general anti-armour weapon, though I'm not sure why the recent update decided to make it worse at killing tanks/cannons in the weakspot.
