You have a point but a helldiver standing on a pile of robo corpses would be pretty safe if you ask me same for a shirt with a helldiver blowing up some bugs. I’ve looked at unofficial merch and you’re right that definitely is an issue with some things but I think if they were smart about it it wouldn’t be a problem. But yes there is unofficial merch with words like “veteran” and stuff like that and it could look like stolen valor to the untrained eye. As long as you’re smart about what you wear and the devs are smart about the designs it would be alright.

I mean it’s similar to Halo if you think about it, there’s a lot of Halo merch that looks like real military merch but you don’t hear about it every day

Plus not gonna lie I’ve seen people get pretty bold with their choice of political clothing even if the merch could be construed as controversial it’s nothing compared to most of the stuff out there. I mean when it comes time to vote a lot of people wear their political alignment on their chests literally some even denouncing other people for their political opinion.

I feel like the yellow/black colour scheme does lend itself well to hoodies and shirts. Like, imagine a hoodie, but with the same yellow stripes as the tactical armour and maybe even the Helldiver Skull on the back. Heck, you could even have stripes on the hood, similar to the helmets. Dunno if it'll ever happen, but I sure would wear it all the time
