Why failed mission gives 0 exp?

If you complete the main objectives and wipe, you will still receive EXP.

You get experience for every objective you complete regardless of how far you got into the mission. Doesn't matter whether it's secondaries, bug holes, or extraction.

You only need to complete the main objectives. No need for extract even. You can die and still win.

This is why I prioritize the main first then the secondaries. Our lives for Super Earth!

You do get XP for mission objectives, you just don't get the bonus XP for extraction.
