What is it that keeps getting corrupt/broken/goes missing after every play session and patch?

It is the only game that I have to verify all the time to get whatever it's missing back. I bet half the bugs we have are probably around whatever is going on with this file/s maybe. Sometimes it is more than one that needs to be reacquired.
