Is Fortified Commando heavy armor still better than regular?

Recent patch notes said that medium armor reduces damage by 5% more, and heavy by 10%, but "fortified commando and light armor are unchanged." I was just wondering if the Fortified Commando was still better, or if it's pretty much the same as regular heavy now.

I use fortified commando for bots and I have been taking a lot more hits. No way am I gonna use it against bugs tho.
