Command Bunkers

How do you actually destroy these things in a timely manner? Only strategy that works seems to have been waiting for the orbital laser to recharge.

Seriously, I got up close to one once--entirely undetected. Called in a hellbomb--which bounced off the floor around it for 30 seconds, refusing to actually stick to the ground before despawning.

This happened five times, before it finally dropped. The cannons on top immediately fired, completely missed, and deleted the Hellbomb through hellish Automaton psychic phenomena.

By this point, I'm getting swamped, so I drop a 500kg bomb and a orbital barrage on it and run like hell. Bunker survives, and all the turrets. I die, and get instantly obliterated 5 times in a row every time I respawn because of the turrets, losing the mission.

How are you supposed to kill these things?

Youre meant to throw the hellbomb further down the ramp, its got some weird rock bounce thing up top.
And if you miss.. everything detects you and knows exactly where you are.

Barrages are okay if they actually hit and because of the size of them they usually do, take them out with walking barrages all the time when RNG decides to not ♥♥♥♥ me

laser, 120mm bombardment (the 380 is too inaccurate), eagle bombing run and the last slot for autocannon. That's my diff 9 loadout for bunker mission. I don't recommend 500kg on a bot mission tho.

Imagine having a 4th slot on a bot mission tho

In all seriousness, I did try the 120mm bombardment and that still didn't do the trick. Is it just a issue of luck?

Fight your way to the top and calldown the ssd drive, put it in the slot.
Engage the terminal and it will initiate a destruction program.

The grid square killer works for me. Just toss it near the building and run.

blow up the defensive turrets with anti-armour and then hellbomb. you can do a funny by having everyone enter the hellbomb code and then throw it at roughly the same time. it will call down 4 hellbombs. i discovered this accidentally when 2 of my teammates did the code and then threw it at the same time.

thats a diferent thing entireli im pretty sure , the comand bunker main objective is hellbomb stratagem

I just pop the 120 and 360 and just let them do it at a distance. Works every time

Throw a 380 then run away. Best fire and forget. The stratagem has to land near the bunker tho
