Give the Slugger its stagger back

Its a Slug shotgun, reduce the effective range or reduce the accuracy at distance if the problem is it being a sniper. It fires way to slowly to be used against bugs in any capacity now because of the no stagger.

Or just nerf anything that people seem to enjoy as that seems to be the direction the game is taking.

The Diablo/Death IV route... we all know how that is(n't) going. Devs need to start buffing and stop nerfing

its not op in the slightest, mad clunky to learn, and if you start missing the hunters still get u. but w nice accuracy it can kill up to twice as fast as the old slugger imo since it also seems to be way more forgiving with hunter 1 shots

and I do too, believe me. this was their most braindead nerf for sure, should've just buffed the jar. But the jar is basically an improved slugger for no reason

Then they'll just nerf the punisher. By their own admission, they go purely off of usage statistics when it comes to balancing.

The only reason Slugger isn't useless even without the stagger is because it's still the best primary sniper. It can snipe gunships out of the sky,

Jar takes about a whole mag. slugger about 12 shots so its about the same in terms of ammo used

just saw a video, i counted 11 for jar since he missed a bit and 13 for slugger
edit could be 10 for jar and 12 for slugger
