ARC-12 Blitzer..
Makes you wish it fired faster or did more damage. Thing needs a buff or quality of life fix to increase probability of wide-arc shots.

The "wide-arc" is very rare, most of the time just hitting a single enemy. Which makes this thing essentially shoot arc lightning slugs. Which is bad at higher difficulties, if your one shot doesn't kill whatever, you're panic reloading/switching to something with ammo. Overall, this thing feels bad.

Curious how everyone else feels about it.

Anyway, the gun isn't good. It looks cool, and unlimited ammo is great but the damage doesn't work against armor and the damage output is only "okay" for a shotgun. Too many tradeoffs combined with the trash fire rate means this gun is relegated to fking around at low difficulty and that's about it.

Like most of the things the devs balance, its not good. So many tradeoffs for the unlimited ammo gimmick they clearly weighted so heavily they gimped it like this. That being said, the devs seem intent on ruining all the top performers of the regular warbond everyone gets, and like the dominator this may get a buff too sometime later.

I would not use it beyond difficulty 5. Even the basic Punisher will serve you much better.

Thing about the wide arc is it doesn't do full damage amongst the targets. That 250 damage is split, so it's not like you're going to be killing them faster

It's alright against bugs and bad against bots. The stagger and infinite ammo makes it viable, but the inability to control where each arc lands hurts its reliability.

Double the fire rate and range and it should have it's place - against the bugs at least.
There seems to be far too much value put on unlimited ammo. I assume the wide arc is the random aspect of arc weapons, sometimes it does what you want, other times not.
The weapon still needs to do it's job against the target your aiming at though(dmg/RoF/Range), or any other shotgun is a better option.

arc generally needs to either ignore dead bodies and foliage.

arc blitzer needs faster RoF and better spread of arcs

It feels good you just need a teammate with a complimentary loadout. You can't use it solo or you'll get overwhelmed by trash. But that teammate will love that you have it when you stunlock heavies with it.

It a ♥♥♥♥ gun that's what it is.

Too little damage for it's fire rate and sstill have the same bug of "not shooting" at anything like normal ARC does if even a blade of grass are "blocking" it.

Need either better fire rate or more kick.
