Any story?

Just wondering been playing a bit and no story atall? Also missions take what , 5 minutes? same aliens every single time , same thing every single time? Or is it gonna change soon? im like lvl 5 or so.. also still same weapons O_O same armor same skins...

Higher difficulty levels = more mobs.

There is a dev run story system that has seen multiple new kinds of enemies for both factions appear as the galactic war story progresses. The story is progressed by winning or failing major orders

The story has also hinted at the return of a third faction, the illuminates, which have been data mined and confirmed to probably be gold already.

Mission will take longer the higher difficulty you'll go, but no there really isn't a story. Some might suggest the galactic war as one, but that is a glorified bounty board. No actual narrative to be had

There's no story campaign if that's what you mean. There's a galactic story being written out as we accomplish/fail major orders.

You unlock new primary weapons and armor through warbonds with medals, and you unlock support weapons and stratagems with requisition.

This sounds like a person who runs directly to the map and starts missions right away and not upgrading the ship.
Also, assuming this isn't a fake post anyways, somebody who isn't opening the Acquisitions tab, which I can't blame for a new player because at first glance it does look like the micro-transaction tab. Thus this is someone who doesn't know that the very first War Bond, which is right there first thing when you open up Acquisitions, is free to all players and how you unlock weapons and armor.

As far as story goes, it can be hard to grasp that there isn't an actual narrative to follow, but that it's an endless war simulator, with story beats coming in the form of Major Orders and the repercussions of them, be they successful or not.

Story? Yeah, kinda. It's just mostly told outside the game, both what the devs come up with, and what the playerbayse comes up with.
