FPS drops after update.

Hello Helldivers, is someone else experiencing fps drops during heavy battles after the update? Before I was playing in stable 60 fps, after the update started to drop to 30 for a few seconds or even more, I just want to know if I'm not the only one to know that the problem is not on my side.

SAme here. The 2 recent updates really screwed things around. I was getting around 70-80s now it's 60s. Although when that happens I just close the game and restart, which helps reset things

before it was 120-130 with higher CPU temps. I think they optimized the CPU usage in the last patch...

try turning OFF FPS limit. I found it just increased CPU usage. they probably just put the CPU into a busy loop to limit FPS, which is LOL coding... but whatever, just turn it off

specs:: 7800X3D, 3080 RTX

You're using currently one of the best CPU's on the market tbf. Like I've looked at all the HD2 benches with the 7800x3D and it's always been higher than the rest out there, so I'd expect no less.

yes, I recommend it...
but also, it was running at nearly 70C (on a 360mm AIO) until I turned off FPS limit.
now it sits at 58-60C in heavy gameplay.

Same here, mate. Everything was stable in previous patch (i mean the big one, not the one before the hotfix)

until this patch ive been playing on 120+ fps on a 4080 laptop but now i am stuttering every couple seconds. I feel the fans going ovetime and its running significantly hotter than it used to. Hopefully they revert whatever they did soon

This has been said by other people but verify the files integrity and you'll find 1 file is corrupted. Successfully verifying files fixed the stuttering and fps drops on my side. Do that after every patch/update.

fixed it thanks now to get my isp to stop scamming me and ruining my connection every mission
