No one is talking about the game's sound issues...
However, sound and image have gone together since Creation.

The game has serious sound issues.

I would only talk about the problems, I'm not here to say what's good, if it wasn't a minimum, I obviously wouldn't play.

- The noise of enemies appears as if they were next to you, even though they are 100 meters around...

- Enemy noises appear on the left or right while they are behind...

- At one point in the game I turn around and a tank and 2 squads had landed behind me (2 meters), seriously, do they have silencers on the reactors? And a tank that is dropped on the ground and moves, is it silent?

- I'm not even going into the sound of certain weapons: *knock*knock*knock*: what a pleasure to shoot! (...)

I'm sorry but when you're responsible for the sound, it's not possible to make such a mistake. Apart from the explosions, it's not at all immersive because it's so grotesque.

a lot of sound effects will repeat endlessly. like laser shooting will repeat loudly in your ear despite nothing shooting, or static squiggly noises from stratagem jammers will radiate in your eardrums the entire mission.

there are many many many audio bugs.

the actual audio DESIGN is great, but the many many audio bugs makes it hard to enjoy it.

Think I noticed it also. But usually I play not that loud (like with the Midnight Mode - dont seem to be better). Use instant the Map to look where enemies are. However - noticed multiple time, that if sound get overlaped (Event A and B appears at the same time or proximal), that one of the sounds completely removed or is that quite, that you cant hear it well. Most the time it happend to the Volume of the backgroundmusic or the speech loudness of your helldiver. And its even get transfered to ship back - its still quiet.
Just try to talk to one of the crew members on the ship... you will here, it comes from right or left... not good....

there's basically no sound design that plays into the game mechanic. they dont use sound as a tool to make the game more fun.
and a lot of enemies are really silent
