Console games are guests under the Great Lord Gaben and his Infinite Deals. They should show some respect.
More likely, they're just looking to get people's foot into the PSN environment in the hopes that they'll spend more money, as well as the data harvesting.
And on top of that, it gives them a nice boost to their PSN numbers in their financial reportings, which makes them look more attractive to investment money.
But they are doing it the wrong way. Everyone should probably revert their reviews again, never have trusted that one tweet this much to begin with. But it looks like people have serious attention span deficits. Can't wait for YongYea and other YouTubers (some of them buckled just as quickly as the players did) to do another 3+ videos on the very same situation.
But hey, democracy and all that, I guess. At least everyone's on top of the memes.
So why keep the games de-listed? The people they're hurting cannot convert, they cannot bolster those PSN user numbers. It is literally impossible for them to do that.
So why punish them further? It makes no sense. It also makes no money. None. Not a cent. Why would Sony do that??? I say whatever their reasons, it can't be on the level.
My theory is that they're keeping the game delisted because they intend to push the mandatory PSN account in the future.
When Steam delisted the games, it made those folks in the affected area eligible for a refund. Sony loses money on refunds (more than just the refund price). So why would Sony turn down all that money from the delisted regions? Because they don't want a 2nd round of refunds when they implement it again in the future.
Nah that's not what he was saying as "happening currently". He was speculating they'll do that in the future.
I mean, This point its guaranteed.
Canada prime example, They violated our rights during covid forced to take vaccine to lose jobs. During protest they violently trampled peaceful protesters but allow LGTBQ Whatever warriors to protest all they want doing the same stuff Trucker Convoy was doing but it's okay cause its LGTBQ.
Same thing with the Palestinian and Ukranian protests here, They can protest however they want but it's permitted.
We even talk about Peaceful Trucker Convoy? Threats of jail & accounts being frozen.
People just let em do it, If the majority of the people who attended Trucker Convoy just stormed Parliament they wouldn't be able to do jaaaaaaaaaaaaack ♥♥♥♥ to them. 500ish policemen vs 10,000+ Unwashed Masses Pretty clear who will win.
People moan, whine, and threaten but that's all they do. When it comes to do actions they make excuses or hide. Our Government systems love this behaviour, Makes you and everyone else easy to control.
We're due for World War 3 and then anyone who survives the Nuclear Armageddon will be absorbed into a unified government that bans nuclear weapons but also "Votes" on all world affairs and has universal laws.
The rich will be fine, They have their bunkers and know exactly when war is planned. They will write the laws that the poor irradiated survivors will be forced to follow, No more free breeding. You breed without permission? Execution.
