the rest will probably just collect dust
armor, emotes, grenades, player cards etc. are also things to factor in when valuing a warbond.
of which i think every armor looks great, the grenade is good, the player cards look good, and the emotes are good. the booster is situationally good as well
so overall. great warbond. 2/3 weapons are crap, but they are surely gonna get buffed..
They are probably thinking they don't want this to be a "pay to win" game and have some more situational variety. Like those incendiary nades aren't going to work well against the bots.
Then you have to look at what is coming next? It should be obvious a new faction is coming into play sometimes. I'm sure they don't want to burn all their twists and expansions all at once. So you have to take that into consideration. There's also Joel who is managing the ongoing "story line" and the actual players actions all coming into play.
So you might have a primary from one warbond, a secondary from another, a nade from another and a boost from another yet. You'll figure out what works best for you depending on your play style and type of enemies you are fighting.
I'm glad this game doesn't force you into a "class" where you can play what fits you best.
Patience. Little foresight. Little hindsight.
I think they should maybe slow down the pace of the releases. But they have a better feel on that end than I do.
The armors look great but do nothing new, so they are useless, the emotes are whatever and playercards are useless. they are stocking stuffers the guns and armor are presents. Also the motivational shocks is so useless that you didin't even remember to mention it on paper it sounds good in practice its useless because MOST slow downs are aoe based.
I originally dismissed the pummeler as well, but I have been loving it on bots where I can put a small burst into a berserker and stop it dead to get an easier headshot with a senator or verdict. It's also good on bugs, as it can stunlock stalkers and stop chargers.
And the verdict, while I wish it had at least medium armor pen, can easily deal with bot chaff and is reliable.
I haven't personally used the purifier, so no comment.
There are weapons that exist already that have both stagger and the ability to kill reasonably.
The pummler isn't "good" it's just barely passable. Stop trying to hype up a doa weapon.
The stun is a fun meme, but I don't see how it is actually relevant to justify such a massive decrease in DPS.
You can stun enemies using stun grenades.
You can use literally any support weapon to practically insta kill most opponents without wasting 5 mags.
S stands for shxt tier
They're all so freakin boring, though.
