Yeah, 3 Baltic states are definitely hostile and dangerous places that Sony forgot the ban the first time so they had to make 2nd ban wave just for them.

Calling Sony greedy, however, by not supplying PSN to it is a bit funny though. Though, honestly. I don't think Sony did so out of some moral and ethical decision, but rather due to Vietnam likely having conditions and issues that would prevent Sony from retaining private control over PSN in said country.

Vietnam has a massive history of human rights violations. Unlike a lot of the other countries though, it's fairly safe for tourism! They're just horrid to their own people.

As I told you before in other discussions, you're welcome to make your own post arguing for the freedom of countries that should be included on Helldivers. Instead of arguing the lowest common denominator. Because between banning Syria, Iraq, Afghanistan, Somalia, Sudan, Venezuela, Libya, etc... or freeing the Baltic states... I'm going to side on the banning them. Sorry.

If anything, SONY is a company and should want everyone's money. And as I said, I don't trust they chose not to have PSN in certain countries because of some moral grandstanding, but rather because those countries (fascist dictatorships) tend to want to be able to monitor the data of their citizens through private corporations. Which usually means said companies won't provide full online support to those countries.

A company being greedy wouldn't be like "Oh yeah, let's not make as much money as we can by not providing our business everywhere!"

That was the thing that started it all, someone badly cropped a canned response, and the person that actually got it, clarified and highlighted the message by the CEO, who confirmed that it was a clerical error by Valve.
