Whats the Mission? Any Briefings?
Look at his twitter, there is a lot of compromising evidence
Turns out the person in charge of balancing the weapons is some deadbeat called Alexus Kravchenko that is ridden with narcissism and has been using data to decide what is getting nerfed into the ground and what is getting buffed.|
However what data? He's been using the data recorded from the game, and takes a look at what weapons are getting used the most, and then nerfs them on the basis of being popular. Then taking a look at his balancing attempts, people have been coming to the conclusion that he never even bothers testing his balancing with practical data, meaning testing them in missions before rolling them out.
However the worst of it all is that this deadbeat is the same maggot that ripped out half the features in Hello Neighbour 2 because he believed, on his own and without concern for the opinions of others, that a lot of the planned features were "boring" or "too powerful" and said half-thought excuses such as "it would be boring."
This in turn caused the game to fail, which he dipped on a month or so before the release.
Can anyone confirm who is actually in charge of this Department?
The developer in charge of balancing weapons is an even bigger clown on socials & Discord than Spitz was.
Seems to think being an apathetic, sarcastic assh0le is a good substitute for a personality, in a professional capacity - especially in the wake of the PSN debacle.
He doesn't have any professionalism or respect for the playerbase who funds his salary.
If doesn't respect his userbase, then he should stfu and stop inflamming tensions.
THe Hello Neighbour Fandom Article, i dont really know what to think. Im not deep enough into this Game to understand the Range of his doings. :(
Is there anything else i could read or search for?
Just search him up on Twitter, and he's also present in the Helldivers Discord server as well to confirm.
Doesnt anyone recognize whats going on with the Buff/Nerf fiasco at Arrowhead Studios? If its really mostly him, the Studio should get Suspecious about it. He Balances something and generally nobody likes it. And the Game loses more and more Players. :/
He already ruined one project, now he chose a bigger fish
Up to and including the "All weapons in this WB are S tier", which is either a bad joke, absolute cluelessness or outright malice.
This ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ is going to ♥♥♥♥ our beloved game.
That would be in the interest of the studio and the game, considering the Galactic War seems to be nowhere near as full of Helldivers as it was before the Sony situation happened.
They need to get rid of him and start appeasing the community more, because they need now more than ever to focus on maintaining player retention, which can be done through ensuring weapons feel good to use and the gameplay loop is rewarding.
Though neither of those can be attained when everything is nerfed into the ground. Even the CEO has admitted that it's getting to be a problem and they're thinking of a solution to it.
That solution would be to throw him out.
