They are pre-nerfed for a reason, most are too thick to understand.

People get FAR more pissed when you take something away then if you never had it, its human nature. Look at how the community has people react to nerfs.

Examples.

Eruptor is basically a primary thats a support weapon. It can take down heavies, big aoe, close holes, kill fabs, oneshot this and that, plus the animation cancel for reloading.

It had "its gunna get nerfed" all over it.

Counterpoint - Plasma punisher and arc blitzer

Bad on release. Punisher was a niche thing for a few players and you knew someone had no idea how to play if they took the blizter. They both got buffed. Now plasma punisher is very viable, and great for bots, and the blitzer is great for bugs. No whine, no hate.

BUT imagine if they had those two weapons even better than now prior and nerfed them to the current level?!

I'd argue that if they removed the eruptor reload exploit, it'd be balanced. A multi-use, very powerful weapon with the huge downside of slow reload and can't be used point blank.
