Pistol as secondary to clear little mobs
Thermit as grenade to deal with heavy and bugs holes
Jetpack for mobility and so much fun to use
Medium or light armor for mobility
Liberator (I'm tired of all the other primaries being nerfed)
Senator
Impact Grenade
Eagle Airstrike, Orbital Railcannon/Precision Orbital (depending on my mood), Recoilless, EATs.
Vs. Bots:
Dominator (consistent headshots if you aim well, gotta take into account the scope dot sight still being a bit too high)
Grenade Pistol
Stun Grenade
Clusterbomb Airstrike, Orbital Railcannon/Precision Orbital (again, depending on my mood), Supply Pack, AMR.
Supply Pack + AMR is team-support and BiS against bots, IMO. AMR is just a better Autocannon if you can aim well, IMO. But I might just be saying that because I hate the Autocannon's optics, and that's taking into consideration that the AMR's sights are still slightly off, even though AH claims they fixed it.
Las-16 Sickle
P-4 Senator
Impact Grenades
Eagle Airstrike
Orbital Railcannon
Orbital Gas Strike for Terminids / Shield Generator or Shield Backpack for Automatons
Some support weapon, lately it's Recoilless Rifle after Las-99 Quasar Canon was nerfed
scorcher, revolver, frag grenades
armor - mostly stealh light armor
stratagems...
arc thrower, jumppack, 380 mm barrage and 110 mm rocket pod
vs bugs
punisher or slugger, revolver or grenade pistol, fire or frag grenades
armor - mostly stealth light armor
stalwart or flamethrower, 380 mm barrage, napalm, 110mm rocket pods or railgunstrike
but i tend to switch whatever and not stick to anything in particular
a few weeks back i loved the arcthrower, before that the autogun, before that the recoillessm, before that the railgun, before that the HMG before that the stationary HMG and mine fields.
or all barrages
shield
eagle airstrike
Orbital laser
antimat - bots
railgun - bugs
For def missions.
Just sentrys and antimat.
revolver for secondary for that extra punch, also personal preference
impact grenades, just for the no time to explode usefulness, used HI-EX before so, same damage, but no wait period
Orbital Precision Strike, no brainer for me, never leave my SD without it
Gatling Barrage/Railcannon strike/Orbital Laser, depends on the fancy, and if only one other guy has Railcannon strike/Orbital Laser, gatling barrage is replaced by RCS or OL, if not, im usig GB cause of the fast cooldown it has.
500kg/cluster bomb, always an Eagle on call.
and for now im running the Airburst RPG, kills patrol groups like no one else, love it!
Light Armour for fast running and extra nades!.
This is my actual loadout now, that im playing against Bugs
if im going back against the Toasters, then
Dominator, for armor punch
revolver, as i said, personal preference
impact grenades
ODS, never leaves my slot since i started playing.
Orbital Laser, for outposts, bunkers and AT-ATs
500kg Eagle
Autocannon My Beloved! or Liberator Rover with MG-43.
Light Armour for fast running and extra nades!. or Heavy armor for blast protection, depends on the mission type
booster are the same for both enemies, wich is..... wichever is not picked by the rest of squad XD
If both your Primary and Support weapon are out of juice, fall back a bit, if you are also horribly out of position from your friends you die.
You mainly have a lot of punch but not a lot of sustain. So make it count. Reloading is a thing you can do when there is no enemy left standing anyway.
Pair it with an EAT-17 and you can also help take out the heavies
- R-63 // R-63CS ( the marksman rifles )
- P-19 ( Autopistol )
- GL-21 ( Grenade Launcher ) // AC-8
- G-3 Smoke // G-23 Stun // G-10 Incendiary
- EAT-17
- B-1 ( not in combination with the AC-8
This should leave you with 1 Strategem slot left you can fill with something red.If it does not, well then you better drop the GL-21 and B-1 for a nice AC-8.
When using that GL-21 please do be aware that what you shoot must not come ricocheting back at you or you are going to have a bad time.
The R-63CS is good for picking off heads of Devastators, or their rocket pods. I recommend you do that if your support needs to reload
You CAN use the RS-422 ( Railgun ) instead and increase your range of enemies you can 'solo' ( Like the Charger, and the Bile Titan ). But I prefer to fight toasters and my APW-1.
IF you want to use the RS-422 remember to hold the reload button and take off the safety. You WILL do a lot more damage depending on how much you charge the weapon before it fires. You WILL explode alongside your weapon if you overcharge
- SG-8S ( Slugger ) // Plas-1 ( Scorcher ) // AR-23 ( any variant )
- Secondary does not matter much, though i recomend the P-19 ( Autopistol ) // GP-31 ( Grenade Pistol )
- APW-1 // RS-422
- G-23 Stun
- B-1
This leaves you with 2 strategem slots. For which I recommend some more precision removal tools. EAT-17, 500 KG Bomb, Orbital Railcannon Strike, or my personal favorite the Eagle 110MM Rocket Pods. This plays mostly searching and eliminating targets of opportunity rather than mass removal. So it is great for those who know how to remain stealthy.
Although I have seen it in the field enough to make up a "If I had to then I would..." build for it
- LAS-16 ( Sickle ) // ARC-3 ( Arc Thrower )
- Secondary does not matter
- LAS-99
- Grenade does not matter
- AX-LAS-5 ( Guard Dog Rover )
- EXO-45 Patriot Exosuit
Leaving 1 slot for something like the Orbital Laser or whatever other Red you think will get the job done.I wish that somewhere in the future I can actually write down a GR-8 or FLAM-40 or maybe even a LAS-98 "build" that does not make me feel like I am recommending a 'bad' weapon for what it currently is. Oh and do not even get me started on the FAF-14. DO NOT touch that one.
