Lets you easily find Pois without hassle it's a godsend when farming samples while doing evac personal missions
Not to mention radar pings are actually very useful for finding patrols while stealthing, and keeping an eye on my map while in a firefight has saved me countless times, because I can find enemies flanking me and avoid running into another group of enemies while retreating. Scout is fine, you just need to adjust your playstyle a bit more if you wanna notice any difference while using it
The only ACTUAL problem with it, is that it doesn't automatically send the enemy info to your teammates so they automatically can tell what you're doing and what you're seeing. I would definitely like it to be buffed in at least that regard to make it more useful to the whole team.
I'm usually wearing it so I thought it would also display on their radar as well. Thought they could see it so I'd often ping nearby stuff rather than directly on an objective.
The actual ping itself shows, but the enemy markers around it don't.
Ah okay, so I guess you have to bring the "radar ping" booster for others to see it?
