Autocannon & scorcher nerfed.

Heads up, the autocannon and the scorcher got an indirect nerf in the recent patch.

"Scout Striders less vulnerable to explosions."

This means that the autocannon doesn't one-shot scout striders anymore. Before the patch it took one shot but now it takes 2-3 shots to down a strider. The scorcher can still kill them but it will require more shots than previously. Before the patch it took 2-3 with the scorcher but now it takes something like 3-4 shots to kill a strider.

The short preview video for the autocannon stratagem shows that it can one-shot a strider but in practice the autocannon doesn't do such a thing. Is this false advertising?

It's more of an indirect nerf but I'd argue it's a hidden nerf since it's not explicitly stated in the patch notes

Had they written the patch notes something like this:

• Scout strider Riders now less vulnerable to explosions. Explosive effect weapons, like the autocannon and the scorcher, will have reduced effectiveness against Scout striders.

Then I wouldn't consider it a hidden change.

I think that'd make for a great support weapon. A scorcher-style machine gun sounds lit.
