Maybe, just MAYBE there is a bit too many bile titans now especially considering the nerfs

they are spawning faster than we can kill them, i counted 14 bile titans out at once and we kill one or two every 30 seconds, its actually completely insane. not even 4 quasars or 4 EAT + railcannon stack can deal with them fast enough, i feel like this isn't the way this game should be, unless the point is to just spend the entire objective time running away from bile titans and suicide ticking the objectives

None of us are amateurs, our levels range from 70 to 108, but it takes all the fun out of helldives when you kill a bile titan and it feels like 5 others take its place. I can kill 5 bile titans if i pull a train of them on me then drop a 500kg, but it doesn't matter cause there are still 5 others and then you get a bug breach again and 3 more. Or maybe this is the way helldives are intended to be? idk, just seems kinda anti-fun to me

It would be nice if their spawns were more consistent. The new defense-type mission is a great example. Sometimes you'll only 0-4 Bile Titans the entire match. Other matches you'll have 10+, a near constant stream of them coming at you.

Yeah, especially these retrieve ore data missions where you get additional bug swarms are just absolute insanity, nonstop feed of titans faster than you can kill them

To be fair, are the ones in the distance even aggroed? Biles have an oddly small aggro radius despite being that tall.
they really don't want you getting that backpack

The devs have been making the game into kiting/sprinting simulator since the first "balance" patch. They don't know what fun is.

That's the kind of game this is though. It isn't a horde shooter. It is an extraction shooter. The goal is to get in, do the objective, and get out. It isn't to go in, kill thousands of enemies, and then leave when you want to.

Level 77. Over 300 hours. The devs have consistently damaged their own game with the constant nerfs, day one bugs still present, etc

@Plagen So many people play this game like it was a space version of Vermintide. I doubt you will be able to convince them otherwise, even though you are correct.

And yes, seems to be lots of Titans as of late, but like others mention many can be be ignored/not aggro'd.

What do the nerfs have to do with this? The ideal weapons for killing lots of bile titans in high difficulties weren't changed.

A group of 2 friends and I did the helldive shuttle launch mission, I kid you not, we had 6 bile titans overrun us, it was the worst

i guess you dont play high difficulties or just didn't read the patch notes, the quasar got a 5 second increase in cooldown which means you can shoot once every 22 seconds with the charge, on average it takes about 5 shots to take down a bile titan cause of its jankiness, that means theres 3 bile titans spawning for each you take down and then at the end of the mission you have something like in my picture, dozens of bile titans locking down the entire map and then a few dozen chargers on top to make sure you dont even get a shot off

this "just dont aggro them" thing doesn't much work either when they are standing on objectives, and 90% of these are from bug breaches, which means they are already aggro'd, and its impossible to not get bug aggro in missions like the mining sample retrieval
