No one who uses the weapon correctly complaints about the patch.
It has great DPS, insane "magazine" size (and that's assuming you shoot without pausing at all) and infinite ammo as is.
It makes sense to punish overheating a little more severely - and even then, you'd be hard pressed to overheat more than three times before finding ammo.
That particular nerf was one of the most logical decisions in this patch.
not really. I run the Erradicator vs the bots, and you really need ammo for this thing once they start to chase you - the 50% ammo loss is REALLY hard, PLUS they reduced the explosion radius - so I guess it might get tricky to kill fabricators with it now too, but I first have to test it... if I find motivation to open the game.
Sickle only good against the small fry.
Useless against the medium and big fry.
People do not know how to use weapons and screech doom the moment anything about them is changed, regardless of how irrelevant it is.
Just a bunch of temper tantrum throwing 20-year old toddlers there.
They screech about weapon being unusable now, despite most of us never having to reload it more than once per game, but they completely ignore they fixed foliage not blocking shots anymore.
Nevertheless, it would have been nice if they had gone down to 4 first.
