Fog planets

Are terrible, sometimes i get 30 fps its not enjoyable at all

They are all foggy. In one way or another.

You have to turn the fog settings to maximum for it to be less painful.
Still pretty bad though, iv known too many people to stop playing because of fog alone.

I bought a whole new computer to run these fog planets.

The new pc can run em fine but i still can't see ♥♥♥♥

Im okay with not seeing anything, im not okay with not seeing anything in20fps

• Have you tried the steam launch code -dx11 ?
  
• 1st fix Delete "user_settings.config, in: "AppData\Roaming\Arrowhead\Helldivers2"
  (resets your settings)
  
• 2nd fix Deleting your shader cache folder contents, in: "AppData\Roaming\Arrowhead\Helldivers2"
  (will cause weird loading for the first time afterwards to rebuild cache)
  
• 3rd fix [Framerate Limit] in [Display Settings] turned on and set to 60.
  
• 4th fix run in fullscreen instead of borderless or windowed helped someone.

Agreed, I'm taking a little break from it as well, just tired of being headshotted across the map by enemies I can't see.

I wouldn't mind if it was once in a while play, but Soo many planets have it that you can't play the range gun you brought.

The fog makes me wish there was no anti cheat, just so that there were hacks to remove it. I hope whoever insisted on the fog is fired

Definitely want fog toned down. The game looks great but you can’t really enjoy what you can’t see. On occasion it’d be fine, but it’s thick on half the planets.

The fog needs to be toned down. I got 150+ hours on the game now and the contant fog maps are just too frustrating on high difficulties. Also got a couple of friends who are not getting into the game just because of the constant fog

not to mention the eye scorching sunrises/dawns and sudden switches to pitch black nights. That stuff CAN be fun at times, but it's just way too much in this game, it just drains all the fun out of it

this made the game super choppy for me (despite 60 fps) it was mega choppy feeling.
dx12 ran a lot smoother despite fps drops. which is odd.
