Are they cheated? There is no way people are getting 999,999 high scores legit

It could be fillers but are there actual usernames beside those scores? If so then yes.

Those are Dev and Troll names, and they have scores that are something like 99999

my highest is 5227, going any higher than 6k feels impossible without PURE muscle memory of every single combo in the game. the times get so fast and if you are unlucky you can get multiple long combos like 3-4 hellbombs in one level is game ending

I believe it is entirely possible. I'm not really very good at it, but a friend I play with pretty much enjoys it as much as he enjoys the actual game. I have seen him score more than 20k on a few occasions. It is possible because the higher your score, the more points you get, so it is just a matter of being able to do it for an hour or so without making a mistake. Someone can forsure do it

I love this facet; they know someone would figure out a way to cheese r cheat it, so they put themselves in there with impossible numbers that no one can ever legit beat.

I'll have to look at the screenshot later, but my personal best round right now is Round 42. Don't remember what the score for that is, I think it was somewhere in the 60,000 range but might be slightly lower.

Saw a YouTube video of a guy who was over round 200 though, with a score somewhere over 2 million. It's entirely possible. It stops getting more difficult after Round 10. At that point, it's just muscle memory.
