And yes, they've changed something, because now Chargers can 'hip thrust' infinitely.
You also have a much larger hitbox when you dive, meaning you get hit more often. Chargers can be dodged by running sideways. They can actually also be dodged by walking sideways. You'll get a "flash", but those trigger on near misses, not actual hits. Worse come to worst, you might get nudged without taking damage.
I'm genuinely not sure what the point of the dolphin dive is in this game. It makes you more likely to get hit, rather than less and it forces you through a recovery animation. Feels like an absolute sucker trap.
I learned a long time ago that during the dive animation the charger's hitbox can still hit you. And always could. You get hit even if it doesn't look like you could be hit.
But running head on tovards you and when you almost reach each other, just pass it from left or right and it won't be able to do a sharp turn, instead it will stop.
If you stand still and dive in the last moment they always slide some distance, if you are trying to dodge and then dive they make U turn
best run at them turn left or right so easy now I can do it heavy armour
same with BT if can't out run them just run threw right between the legs
again with BT if your using nuke to kill them
drop nuke just fraction front them and bait them to spit on you never fails they stop and BOOM direct hit with nuke
