A lot of the hacking was done via DLL injection before GameGuard could initialize, therefore it was undetectable. However it is my understand that as of last week that issue has been fixed. As soon as they inject the DLL the game will crash to desktop, or when the hacks are activated then the game will recognize the changes to certain values and will crash to desktop.
2.)
Because of that change, a lot of script coders are no longer making new DLLs until someone has the balls to figure out how to bypass GameGuard initializing before the Helldivers 2 exe
3.)
The only hacks left that work are Cheat Engine tables that require very time sensitive precision to activate, and a lot of the script kiddies that barely know how to read (much less follow the instruction to make the tables operate) are having too much trouble getting it to run and so are just begging for the older DLL injection method to become available again.
4.)
One popular DLL injected menu on a certain website went from 22 pages long to over 60 pages long in just the course of two days, mainly script kiddies begging the OP/coder to get back to making the hacks work again. The demand is obviously there, but the resources and ability to make the hacks work again are not.

On one website I saw that are a few people are claiming to be running packet interception via the API, and some of them are so inept at what they are doing that they are attempting to use AI programs to help achieve their goals. From what I am able to gather, THIS might be the preferred method these AI assisted script kiddies and actual experienced hackers are using to generate abnormal amounts of EXP and Samples at the time of writing.
All I really know is that over the last week or so the amount of hackers I have seen have shrunk dramatically and, given what I have seen on the forums I browsed, it will be a long time before they are able to efficiently distribute easy to operate scripts to the masses.
quick edit:
Since I have been browsing a few cheating forums to understand what is going on I am even getting Paid Premium Cheats for Helldivers 2 advertised to me on Facebook and Instagram (which I am pretty sure is against the ToS for both sites, but I might be wrong)
Wow, I forgot about that game. I stopped playing because of all the hackers, lmao
Not anymore. That stupid "just alt F4" quit to gain Super creds (or rather leaving the mission early) doesnt work anymore. And thats a good thing... not like i would need 5 minutes TOPS to get some SC, finish a mission and then drop to the next anyway. If i would go real grind tour i would already have unlocked the 1000 SC "bonus" requisition.
