So NOBODY here had a point to make.
Gotcha.
What you fail to realize is you replied to something I had written towards someone who was touting that they owned 5 properties, and that the OP should whine elsewhere. That is where this all started from. I'm not even sure why you took it upon yourself to intervene, least of all on a subject that is in defense of those most vulnerable...
The amount of resentment and denouncing. You're acting as if this were some sort of play, or dance. You're so eccentric it's absurd. You may as well have left with an exiting statement of "death to the poor." At least then you could have held onto what deranged integrity you deem worthwhile, as I can only speculate on the logic patters of a sociopath. Furthermore, I don't view you exiting this discussion as proof you have no further logical arguments, as that would imply you ever had any to begin with. Your stance was against the well being of your fellow men and women. The fact that people like you are allowed to live amongst humans is why the world is the way it is. A legacy of delusions of grandeur.
Great job buddy!
... I don't understand why some people are under the illusion that this game is challenging at all.
it's a 3rd person pve coop shooter; it is not challenging at all.
it can be frustrating at times, but there's not real challenge to it.
this isn't even a challenging genre of video games.
people repeating that the game is challenging does not make it so. it's a pretty straight forward game and very easy to clear solo or with a group.
Discussion poster vs discussion poster!
Neither has the power to change the game they love in the way they want!
So they MUST FIGHT TO THE DEEEEEEEEATH!
Popcorn and soda! Come get your hotdogs and burgers!
THIS WILL BE THE FIGHT OF THE .....MOMENT!(A moment is 90 seconds)
Yeah, the patches are more to make sure everything can be viable in some way. Obv some will be more useful against certain foes but thats the nature. They want to make sure everyone can enjoy a style of gameplay rather than have to pick "meta"
Alongside the difficulty, I typically play around 7 for that nice balance of difficult but fun. But if I just want to feel like the main character I'll drop down to 3 or 4 to have fun. You don't always need a higher number to be happy
Don't shoot the messenger.
That in my lifetime the cumulative "wildlife" on this planet has been reduced by approximately 60%.
Just in my lifetime.
Yet somehow we all must find a way to sleep at night.
Okay, man, look - I'll respond to this one last time in an attempt to put it to bed. Please try to respond in a rational, level-headed manner and not resort to invective and personal insults (i.e. labelling me a "sociopath" right out of the gate).
Despite the fact that you desperately want to believe otherwise, we're on the same side here. I share your beliefs on the hoarding of wealth, and the amount of good it can do the world's less fortunate. I'm an old punk rocker from back in the day, and lived most of my life dirt-poor and scraping by with whatever I could scrounge up, despite every attempt to do better for myself and my family. You keep repeating this assertion that I don't know otherwise, that I'm somehow part of the "elite" ("you might as well have signed off with 'death to the poor,'" or whatever you said last time). Again, you've also labeled me as a "sociopath" more than once, despite making ironic statements like "my truth is indisputable" (again, I know that's not an exact quote; I'm not going to bother digging through several pages to find it. Sue me.).
The difference is that the world isn't as black-and-white as you seem to think it is, and not everyone who has done well for themselves is "evil" (or "a disease," as you referred to them) and contributing to the problem. Neither you, nor I, nor anyone else, has any way of knowing whether or not the dude who owns multiple properties donates regularly to charity, or what he's done in the past to help people. That's called nuance; it's also called "not making blanket assumptions about one person's entire existence based solely on their financial status."
Your heart is in the right place. I believe mine is too. Despite what you said, I do study philosophy, to a large extent (I consider myself an Aurelian Stoic, in case you're curious - another assumption, but never mind). Like you, I have a lot of anger at the injustices of the world. The way to solve those problems, though, is by channeling that anger, not by passing all-encompassing judgements on people about whose lives you know nothing, other than how much money you assume they have.
They released a very good, very fun game that most (if not all of us) enjoy.
Instead of sustaining enjoyment, they want the game to be played only how they deem we should be allowed to have fun.
Aka like a trust fund baby “slacktivist” that inherits a large sum of money, buys up rental properties, and jacks up rental prices so the people around them that they claim to advocate for get screwed.
It’s a pretty straightforward analogy that seems to have really smashed the insecurity button for people that match this description.
