some dev must've gotten his feefees hurt
Was your one way to play
That's askillissue~
but u do u
i'd still think it needs a range buff
They don't understand you can allow the players to play anyway they want as long as the player is having fun. This feels like a culture difference from Sweden devs.
I get it's their baby, but ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ eyeroll with trivial nerfs to make a "hardcore game" that no one will ever think it's hardcore.
Do you want a hardcore game look at Japans style of every fight has to be fair. It's the players job how to figure out the mechanics and system to make it fair.
There's a difference between "play how you want" and "choose with cheat codes on or not" to the point that people kicked you for not using railgun/shield.
It damages the game to have OP options whether you realize it or not. It more limited your options, not increased them. Just the crying alone from the people convinced the nerf was the worst thing possible proves what they were crutching on. They wouldn't complain if the devs missed the mark.
I am disappointed with this change because it stops me from meaningfully interacting with bile titans besides just blasting them, ironically reducing my options instead of protecting them from being crowded out by stronger options like I assume was their intent (a common grievance I have had with the balance philosophy heretofore). Being able to save teammates from titans or dedicating a loadout slot to keeping them in place long enough for an Orbital Precision Strike or similar stratagem was satisfying. Now that’s gone with nothing to fill the gap. I wonder why they didn’t confer this to EMF in return?
For comparison’s sake, the same weight class of enemies, the two tanks from automatons, die instantly from some well-placed radiator grenades. Why can’t stuns work for bile titans? It felt like a nice asymmetry.
why are the devs balancing this game like a competitive game. lmao
stun grenades sucked before and had a use that was fun but no where near meta
now they have no real use at all
im so tired of reading all this kind of defense tbh.
"B-B-B-B-BUT THIS THING IS OP!!!! I DONT WANT TO SEE IT B-B-B-B-BECAUSE IT LiMiTs tHe ChOicEs. I-I-I-I-I-IT'S JUST A CRUTCH BEING USED BY BRAINLESS P-P-P-PLAYERS!"
genius. by nerfing the stun grenades this way. then people would have 0 reasons to run it on bugs. therefore, creating less options.. less choices.....
EMS's are also not doing the stuff... Uh oh! We've got even less choices now!
