Buffs and buffs
So looks like the good old always unhappy community is at it again flooding the forum with threads pointing and crying only about 2 nerf. (which is actually 1. Because the Arc thrower received 1 nerf, 1 bugfix and 1 buff. But who counts...right?)

But can we just appreciate also the many more buffs we got for beloved but not that great guns which hopefully will be used more from now on?

-Liberator Penetrator: now has a full auto mode.
-Guard Dog: now restores full ammo from supply boxes.
-Anti-Materiel Rifle: damage increased by 30%.
-Breaker Incendiary: damage per bullet increased from 15 per bullet to 20 per bullet.
Fire damage per tick increased by 50% (from all sources).
-Dominator: increased damage from 200 to 300.
-Dominator: increased stagger.
-Diligence Counter Sniper: increased armor penetration from light to medium.
-Recoilless Rifle: increased the number of rockets you restore from supply boxes from 2 to 3.
-Spear: increased the number of missiles you restore from supply boxes from 1 to 2.

And can we also appreciate the many fixes and requested features like:

-Level cap has been increased from 50 to 150
-Retrieve Essential Personnel

Moved the enemy spawn points further away from the objective to give players a fairer chance of defending the location.
There are fewer civilians required to complete the mission on higher difficulties.
-Bile Spewer and Nursing Spewer do less damage with their puke.
- Shriekers no longer create bug breaches.
-Shriekers hitting you while they are dead now does significantly less damage.
- Heavy and medium armor protects better and you now take about 10% less damage than before while wearing heavy and about 5% less when wearing medium armor. Fortified commando and light armor is unchanged.
- Fixed Exosuits being able to fire their weapons while opening the minimap.
-We have reduced the number of objects that prevent hellpod steering.

The list of great things is much longer than your pathetic little nerf list. Right?
Now calm down boys and gals.

The AMR still has wonky sights.

I love the AMR (against robots), but even the biggest single buff we have ever seen to a gun with no "And then we nerf something" on top, does not make it worth bringing against the bugs, or better than my "Called it they can't nerf the ammo capacity because of the backpack model and double mag system" autocannon

It's great they made buffs, saying that people can't criticise a nerf because all the other changes is silly though.

You can like the fire increase buff and still hate that your favorite weapon got adjusted
Huge buffs. Massive collection of first-world children that whine that they get 2 toys "taken away" when they get 9 more for free.

They barely even got nerfed. People get too triggered when anyone kicks at their crutches.

Increasing support weapon ammo refills was sorely needed, I hate having to steal a whole supply drop just to refill my rockets,

The liberator penetrator getting a full auto is nice, but I would have preferred a decrease in medium armor spawns or something of the like, it's kind of just a bandaid

the biggest buff they could ever give the arc thrower is removing invisible terrain geometry that stops it from firing. Like I could have completely clear line of sight and it still goes off like there's a tree in front of me.

im fine with arc thrower lower range if it means more consistent connections.
Glad other guns are getting buffed, was hoping Diligence would get something.

Dagger and scythe need a buff, should be in similar ballpark with others. 100/300 DPS vs the lowest 500 or not get hot as fast. Something needs tweaking.
Revolver should come with a zoomable scope.

I'm just happy my incendiary breaker got buffed

I been using dominator for a week and it feel great and now they buff it. I am excited but why the buff?
Can AMR one shot hulk now?

Of course they do, they have spent a lot of time playing with it and enjoying it to have it changed on a whim.

Nerfs hurt more than buffs, if they want less backlash then they need to do what other games do or mmos do more transparent that there will be balancing changes to these weapons because of x. And the changes will be released on x date.

Let it sink in for a week or two and then it goes more smooth. What's really happen is the weapons team probably did what they did with the breaker, they said it wasn't overrepresented but when players do use it they tend to get more kills on average with it so they nerfed it to bring it into line.

So the new nerfs will just result in less kills to match everything else and the level of fun the player head before will now be worse.

There is a fine line between to powerful ruins fun and too weak ruins fun, the weapons now seem to be consistently under the fun line in the bullet sponge area, so adjusting weapons to fall in line with the other weapons when the other weapons aren't fun yet is kinda silly nerfs.

Quasar will be next on the nerf because it deletes chargers faster than the eat or recoilless, even if it's not overrepresented it's kill amount they track will lead to a nerf.

So balances are based on amount of possible kills. I don't agree with this type of balancing it makes every weapon feel generic.
why does the guard dog have ammo? that inherently makes it unusable unless it becomes a mobile gatling sentry with way more ammo than the turret

>No mention of stratagem debuffs being halved

You guys cant even bootlick right anymore

We have reduced the number of objects that prevent hellpod steering.
Should be zero. There is literally no reason to take controll away from the player because he may land on some high place and shoot a couple enemies from there.
Fire DOT, support weapons ammo pickups and personell mission adjustments are good changes. The rest are merely bandaids to cover real problems.

Almost agreed, I think it should be 1, not landing on the objective computers so your pod blocks screens is important. But they should fix that with a hit box that puts you in front of the computer not on it by locking movements.

100% on allow Helldivers to spawn on talk items out of reach, doesn't hurt anyone.

Maybe add that one tall tower from bot defense mission. The mission terminal is whatever. Pods disappear with time anyway. Getting blocked by invisible wall around terminals sounds infinitely more frustrating.

But still kinda "funny" that the only thing people are doing here is complain complain complain. Not the best approach to anything in life.

You call it bandaid. Because you prob don't care in generel about the gun. But for many others who are using it it is a huge buff.
