not new just new to you, i kicked a whole group who joined my game, i asked them not to call in a the shuttle yet iplenty of time to go frind samples and they did anyway so they all went buh bye
I've only seen it happen towards people who do stuff they know they shouldn't so far. Like constantly getting Teammates killed or wasting loads of time trying to kill every group of small enemies that are just patrolling area's instead of just avoiding them. I'd argue that this is just in a sense since those people were causing problems for the entire team.

I've only been kicked once, and it was in the lobby so I didn't lose any progress...

I swear, even bringing 380 + 120 + walking barrages on helldive won't result in a kick nowadays

Hate to say it, but I haven't experienced any of those types of griefing issues since I turned off PS5 crossplay.

I have crossplay enabled and never experienced this issue, period.

As others have said host it yourself. I've not experienced this myself but I have kicked people for doing ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ like calling in the shuttles way too early, grenading tanks and hulks and killing everyone around "accidentally", taking strats like backpacks and heavy weapons when you die and not giving them back (usually the CD is increased on lvls 8 and 9). Consensus is just dont be a ♥♥♥♥ player and you'll probably not get kicked.

I was recently kicked (a few days ago) by a player when the shuttle came in and it auto-started countdown right as it landed for no reason I could discern.

For further context: The Destroyer had left, so we were down one player, and the game host had run off to secure more kills when the shuttle arrived. The other player and I waited until the pilot said, 'We've got to go now' before boarding. Between the two of us, we had secured every sample on Suicide difficulty and weren't going to let that go to waste.

Proceed to the host screaming at us in voice chat and then kicking me and the other guy for "calling in the shuttle and leaving him behind". Despite the fact he initiated the call-in. Said player was also the only one on the team from cross play (PS to be precise).

I've had issues with players from PS before this, kicking because they didn't like the engrams/boosters/weapons players picked.

After that most recent incident, I said '♥♥♥♥ it' and turned off cross play. Haven't had a single issue with being kicked since then.

Could very well be a case of correlation does not equal causation and was purely coincidence, but I'm not turning it back on to find out.

Never once did I mention that it never happens. I only posted what I've experienced and that's it.

This is the worst type of host, spend another 10 minutes to get 5 green and 2 orange samples type deal or you get kicked.,,

Seems like only trolls or terrible players get kicked in my experience

So if I kick you from my game, that automatically makes you one right?

From my experience, players on the PC side are more toxic.
