Hmm... what say the Devs?
Super Performance is legit looking like a Ps2 (which isnt a bad thing honestly).
try playing with that a bit.
The game shouldn't be causing your computer to shut off though, that sounds oddly like a hardware issue. I see you have an AMD CPU. I'm unaware of any issues with those CPUs nor am I an expert on them as I always use Intel CPUs, but as popular as they are in contrast, it shouldn't be a thing. Is it an instruction set issue / requirement? Some games have problems with this and usually need to be patched. (i.e.; AVX instructions)
Looks more like a pC shutdown due to heat problems rather than a game problem to me...
Could be both
yea it sometimes gets to 97c and thats when it shuts off… but it can handle 8 hours of gameplay no problem. its randomly unstable
97c is not good. In my opinion start by setting temp throttle limit to 89c in bios. Keep it below 90c, right? From there I suggest also a better cooling solution.
No reason to blame the game if your system heats up and shuts down. That's why a simple FPS limit to 60 saves the day.
If I were you, I would look into better cooling, cleaning/vacuuming, reducing GPU heat by lowering load/graphics settings. Maybe replacing thermal paste in the cleaning process.
