You can also assist the other player if you are both using the same load-out by hot swapping their rifle with your loaded one (tested this with auto cannon, while we were both on the move, and they needed a full clip).
so only works when everyone is using the same load out.
I basically only utilize assisted reload on automaton missions since multiple auto cannons is viable and realistic.
Because people seem to not understand what co-op means and are in the "i'll have the most kills" mindset...
Sort of. At higher levels you're going to have 8 mins between auto cannon recalls so it isn't realistic to have one person call in an extra backpack until later anyways.
Aye, but it's often better to have at least 2 players running anti armour weapons, instead of 1/3 players running only anti armour, because from what I've seen, most players that get recalled back onto the field don't even go back to pick up their kits (and in my case, I'm then left being the remaining anti-armour until the other player's CD ends).
Team reloads are based on same heavy weapon types. it's basically promoting 2 players to use the same anti-armour type, because then you cut out the reload timing, but double the pool of ammunition you two can use when you combine team reloading one another.
it be more fun if it was easier to help my team mates out and vice versa.
Same. On bug missions I either rock the recoil or the spear, because chargers are just an annoying bull to deal with, and auto cannons don't make sense vs chargers/titans.
A team assist auto cannon duo can chew through bot armour really fast, and it's splash dmg is good at keeping bots from getting too close (also the ammo pool for auto is great compared to the rest).
It's a learning process tbh, but it can always help if you ask players before you begin a mission, and also during a mission to ask for assists, if you know a big battle is about to go down.
Well the people i play with all use different types of weapons and i just want it so everything is more fun to use. Having it where people can just hit "E" to assist another player won't break the game.
I don't play with randoms. I just don't see how changing it where it is easier to do will mess up the game or make it less fun.
