dont want to offend the the .5% of trans that are obsessed with 'gender fluid' and that saying female is sexist when they also get upset if you dont think trans women are women.
You should probably save your "muh genders" outrage for a game where you can actually tell body type 1 vs 2 is actually a man or woman. It makes perfect sense to not gender the body types here, because the slim body type here could be a small man or a woman.
Could easily be a smaller man. It's not like everyone on earth has the same body type. I've seen women with broader shoulders than many men. I've seen smaller guys with wider hips than shoulders. Obviously it's more common to see the opposite, but there's nothing definitively feminine or masculine on either.
You can make that argument with some of the bulkier armours but I encourage you to try switching the body types back and forth with the EX-00 or Scout armour on. It's pretty blatant if you look at it from the side view.
Only difference I'm noticing on the scout armor is the lean has narrower shoulders and wider hips vs bulky having wider shoulders/narrower hips. I don't see anything blatant about it like the chest getting larger.
The chest becomes more narrow but subtly moves outwards and upwards. The shoulders drop as well, so the armour shouldn't do that unless it's making room for something. You can see the same subtle shift in the EX-00 armour, alongside some pretty thick cake. That being said, this is only really obvious with certain armour types; the majority of armours remain ambiguous like you pointed out.
