A Guide to level 9 Difficulty Bots
We clear level 9 bots and have a blast doing it...

This isn't the only strat but it is the most effective and fun that we have discovered and we tried alot of different strats.

You have to have a coordinated team with comms, Gorilla warfare, split in teams of 2's have one team attack and cause a distraction second team flanks in and completes the missions.
Having Each team attack a separate objective is just as effective (sometimes more effective) but use the same strats as follows

Lots of attack and run, circle around and out flank them.

For example...
Hit 2 separate objectives simultaneously (2 men per objective) hit them HARD get 4-6 drop ships then haul ass with it uncompleted, kiting them along the way, circle back giving them a wide birth and complete the objective.
You will still have some lingering around but they will be manageable.
Rinse and repeat.

Take out rocket devastators even if you don't kill them shoot off their rocket pods and run. Rail gun strikes for hulks and tanks ONLY have them off cooldown and call it out in rotation so 3 people don't use them same time on one tank. Watch your teammates cooldowns and call out to him to use his when you can't etc.

Call out when Tanks Turrets and Hulks are on the field and where, try marking if possible. and make them priority targets

Scorchers are OP against bots as well as the anti-Material snipe as many as you can that are manning stationary gun machine guns, shoot off the rocket pods from distance. you can get 5-7 down before they even detect you.

Always drop in on extract then drop a re-supply, EATS etc. and leave them there for extraction, in case its on cooldown, ran out of time, no stratagems available, jammed etc. while extracting.

Return fire while running, bots lose aim while under suppressing fire

Don't always re-enforce immediately especially while retreating let teammate know your re-enforcing him in a sec. because you don't want to drop him in just to get him insta'd and waste a re-enforce.

DIVE ALOT under fire, don't run in straight lines, zig zag use cover.

Once you get it, you will have an AHA moment and it will not only be easy but a TON more fun

If you don't have a friends list of people that use comms and coordinate then this will almost never happen you will always be frustrated and almost never get it done..

** You are welcome to join our squad just send me a steam friend request and you will get a squad invite almost nightly

** In before, yes this isn't the only strat but it is the most effective and fun that we have discovered and we tried alot of different strats.

Dont waste a rail cannon on a hulk. Dont waste rail cannon on a tank. Dont even bother using rail cannon, use 110s!

Ask 1 teammate to be a constant bite. Let him trigger bot drop somewhere else while the rest of the team assaults objective. gg, you won.

Good one! I'm using my 3 teammates as a bait tho~

I had to really spend some time explaining to my friends to hit and run bots for the amount of firepower they can suddenly drop.

110s really dump on tanks but they seem to struggle landing on hulks when i use it.

This is why we split in teams of 2 ,. you will still have spawns but they are manageable

Hold up a minute!

When I read about creek it was called "Space Vietnam" I did not expect it would be US to use "Vietcong-tactics" ...

Funny you say this but more than once my coordinated group has tried the circle back around tactic with people in stealth armor and the moment we go crouched from prone we start hearing laser fire impact the rock/wall we're standing behind because some of them get stuck on terrain and don't actually move off of the objective!

And the suppressing fire thing is BS because they actually mean directly hitting the target with weapons that damage them, and it flat out just doesn't work on rocket/heavy devs and you're on some placebo ♥♥♥♥ if you think it does.

Everything else is pretty much valid when the game works, though.

Yes, they are not for fast moving targets tbqh.

Their targeting also constantly breaks on Bile Titans but when they work it's good for a 1-2 instant removal and sometimes will hit head and insta delete it so you don't have to use a rocket/railcannon on it.

Glad it works for you but IMO kiting is just not fun. You're sposed to be badass helldivers not long distance runners. I hope you and your buddies keep enjoying yourselves but I prefer to just play on level 7 or 8 and be able to fight them. The devs should give you ways to outfight the lv9 missions instead of just run.

When a hulk is on the move 110's will miss him, Rail cannon is a necessity in one of the teams of 2, we pick our loadouts to compliment each other

This whole game on high difficulties is a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ mostly cause of the randomisation for me. If a 7 is more difficult then a 9 cause of some randomisation in the spawns, the entire difficulty rating no longer makes any sense and its just praying to god of dice rolls

Yeah, why have 9 difficulty levels if they are so wild? Personally I'd also slightly reduce the difficulty gap between level 7 and 8.

**You're not giving them a wide enough berth, Kite until they stop following then make an over exaggerated wide circle back, we only wear 550 speed suits for this tactic and it works perfect nearly every time. Most will kite off the objective but yes some will stay but it's few and manageable. This tactic makes lvl 9's seem like lvl 6's ...
You shouldn't have to prone while kiting if your in 550 speed suits you will create distance in no time just dive alot when under fire.

"And the suppressing fire thing is BS because they actually mean directly hitting the target with weapons that damage them, and it flat out just doesn't work on rocket/heavy devs and you're on some placebo ♥♥♥♥ if you think it does."

**Suppressing fire of course you're attempting to hit them, I didn't imply shoot at the air, didn't think I needed to spell that out.
Yes in fact it does work on rocket devs, just not as good, They are extremely accurate and that is why I included this statement in the original post...
** "Take out rocket devastators even if you don't kill them shoot off their rocket pods and run."

Being able to face roll everything is fun for few hours but there is no challenge to that and would be so boring the game would die in few weeks.

It's not "just run" it's gorilla warfare tactics, We also use the Sniper rifle and take out a dozen or so before the full assault, There is alot of fighting and alot of toe to toe, it's just unavoidable the idea is to be more surgical and play as a coordinated team,
It's MUCH more enjoyable than just standing there face roll everything and extract the game should be named boring divers if everything was just face roll.

Because alot of us prefer a hard challenge that requires preparation, coordination, tactics, and communication
