reloading the autocannon

hey guys so getting a bit upset. first i had no idea i needed the supply backpack then i get it and equip the autocannon and r doesnt actually reload? wtf is this?

how do i reload this trash gun?

Its in clips of five, you have enough room in the internal magazine to put 5 rounds in it. If it is empty it can take 2 full clips for its ten shots.

jokes aside:
autocannon reloads in magazines by 5.
your maximum ammo count is 10 shots (2 magazines in the gun).
if you shot 5 times, you can load the next mag to get back to 10 shots.
if you shot more then 5 times you can also load the next mag, but wont be at max ammo (because the other "old" mag still has bullets in it).

for example: you shoot 7 times, that means from the 2 mags in your gun, 1 mag is empty (5 shots) and the other mag has 3 shots left.
if you reload now you will add 1 new mag which is 5 shots. which gets you a total ammo count of 8 (5 ammo from new mag + 3 shots left from the old mag still in the gun).

if you completely empty both magazines you will reload both (which takes considerably longer then only loading 1 mag).

You don't need the "supply backpack", you need the auto cannon backpack that comes down WITH the weapon. I suggest not using this weapon as it requires positive IQ to operate the reload system.

Wow..... no offence this is the DUMBEST post iv seen on these forums yet.

The AutoCannon comes with its OWN AMMO PACK for starters, comes in the same drop pod as the AutoCannon itself. You have 10 rounds per magazine, and the Cannon reloads from 5 round stripper clips. You can even fire 5 shells and then reload 1 clip.

Grab the backpack that comes down with the same pod as the weapon and you will be able to reload with it once your weapon it below 50% ammo. Just admit you made a mistake and continue your life. We both know there is no bug.

No, No trolling. I just find it impossible to believe your are having this problem in the first place.

When you call down the Autocannon, it has both the CANNON and CANNON AMMO backpack in the same drop pod.

Each CLIP for the Auto Cannon hold 5 rounds. The Magazine holds 10 rounds.

Once you fire 5 rounds you will be able to RELOAD 1 clip. Fully empty the Magazine and you will load 2 clips.

If you have fired less then 5 rounds the cannon will not let you reload. If you have 1 to 4 rounds left you will only load 1 clip.

you are the first person on the internet that hinted at all that there was a 2nd special pack backpack just for this. would have been nice to know in the first place or that it was hidden on the other side of the pod.
