starting AR
base breaker shotgun
are you best all rounders imo
-Good rounds size
-Shell reload so you don't accidentally waste mags
-can take down bigger enemies in 2-4 hits (not heavies)
-can break open container doors that are scattered around the map
-long range and accurate for a shotgun
Las-sickle. Anyone listing anything else are probably not farmed enough to deviate from main warbond yet.
It is great vs bugs, and still great vs bots.
Plasma scorcher is still meta for bots due to how much more effective it is at stealth clearing objectives. However, if you wanted a single weapon, then Las will still do well against automatons.
You need to pick anti-tank to deal with tanks, no primary is going to deal with tanks properly for you. This usually means some form of stratagem use like 500kg bomb, 110mm rocket pods, EAT, or orbital rail cannon.
There are people who still pick the breaker shot gun. It is usually because they run solo (no players joining) high difficulty, or they suck. If you run solo lobbies, all the supply drops are yours. If not, you'd be running empty half the time and attempting to conserve ammo rather than fighting.
the scythe is ok, better at bots than bugs in my opinion but you will need a shield because you easily lose focus when hit.
