But that's the same ammo the existing MG comes with, so that's fair.
I haven't had time to do any testing yet, but the MG already shreds anything up to a Charger, so to be of any use, HMG needs to at least be able to shred Charger legs.
If it doesn't, I don't understand what it's purpose is, and it's need power, to offset the major hurdle of needing to be in first person to fire.
This game needs serious weapon rebalance, so many cool looking guns are useless beoynd trivial difficulty
But hey! at least it gets both spare mags back from a resupply pod, so that means it HAS to be called overpowered compared to the default MG!
Pretty noob that it has sights at all, honestly. I think all weapons should be fired randomly from the hip. That's what badass pros do in the movies.
Not at all, I think everyone should be playing with HUD completely disabled for maximum immersion and hardcore experience. The game is way too easy as it is...
This thing SHREDS striders and devastators.
Low capacity high damage precision weapons are to use vs bots, not bugs.
It's not, though
MG34, if you have the upgrade for ammo on support weapons being full, is 3 x 150
HMG is 3 x 75.
Both have 1 in gun 2 reserve boxes
3 x 75, doesn't come close to 3 x 150...
It's actually literally, half, and you're better off with the MG43 in all instances.
