Barely any difference between L7 and L9
Has anyone else noticed that the highest trio of difficulties barely differ from one another in terms of actual difficulty?

Thanks to spawn spikes (both positive and negative) I've even had L7 missions that were more difficult than L9. I will say that L9 seems to spawn multiple titans more consistently than the rest but it's not that noticable and honestly doesn't make a great deal of difference since by this point your team would have 1-2 dedicated AT guys anyway.

I also seemed to have encountered fewer chargers on L9 than on the other two?
I guess devs think titans are more difficult to deal with which might be true given the massive charger nerf recently but I still find Chargers to cause more chaos to my team than Titans if not taken out quickly.

Difficulty scaling only seems to have significant effects on secondary objectives (lots of stalkers and shriekers) and Eradicate swarm missions

the bigger difference is usually the stratagem and mission modifiers. double stratagem call in time / 1 less slot / 50% longer cool-down etc. enemy density seems to be higher for titans / hulk at t9 but thats all ive found too

There was before. They nerfed it (maybe unintentionally?) after all the complaints.
D9 before used to have like... a dozen bile titans in minutes while you fought 12 chargers.

Now it's all hunters which are super squishy and you probably have already learned how to deal with back at D3.

This is why I @#$!ing laugh when people are like "but muh difficulty you don't know what you're talking about at higher difficulties ..." you know it's just self validating whining. Like you said, 7-9 is pretty much all the same. I guess we're counting 7 as the "higher difficulties"?

Pretty much this but pre-patch (two patches ago?) it was much harder.

I guess my L9 mission on Ustotu forgot about the spawn spikes, didn't stop it from spawning 4 Tanks and 4 Hulks not to mention the dozens of Devastators (heavy and rocket) 5m away from us.
