I see. I would suggest you don't take the route and risk a ban but it's up to you. :-)
Meanwhile im sitting here with my ♥♥♥♥♥♥ ass 6 year old graphics card and laptop and are able to enjoy the game
1: Cross-play and the coding for the internet.
There seems to be several issues involving the cross-play and the internet game code. More people who play cross-play are reporting issues when playing with people on opposite systems: Resulting in dropped players, random errors, and other issues. It not yet determined if the issue is the code, hardware, hardware AND code? but I understand its being looked into. (it COULD even be out of their hands and an issue of the Server owners - assuming they rent their servers. )
2: optimisation: This game needs a few more passes for sure. Heat spikes, slow downs, memory losses, have all been reported. Which in turn can lead to odd system behaviour (such as rebooting if your system gets too hot.)
3: broken in game functions: some in game features seems to cause a hard break in the game, causing a crash to desktop. it not sure if this is code, or hardware related and will probably be looked at soon I hope (only filed a bug report a few hours ago after testing that the crash was repeatable)
The good news is, this game is getting constant work, and with a large player base these issues are being found and reported and worked on. The fixes won't be overnight however.

THINGS TO KEEP IN MIND:
IF you get an error, 2 things to try right off the bat:
Verify files in Steam: if there's an error that will usually fix it.
Turn off your VPN and firewall if you have them. Sadly, as always, these safety devices can work a little too well and act as the fun police too.
Was this for me?
I get it. I was using the colloquialism most people would understand. I will leave it at this.
I misunderstood you. I thought you disabled the anti-cheat so that you could play the game, but you deleted the anti-cheat and then verified the files so the anti-cheat would be restored.
Apologies, my mistake.
