Best crash simulator on Steam

This game can be incredible, when it works. Playing for half an hour and crashing to desktop before extraction feels like a giant "F you" in the face. I'm done playing until the devs do something about it and fix the billion other issues this game is plagued with.

I won't be buying games from that studio again.

I play this game like 8 hours a day and it didnt crash a single time, maybe you should screw the graphics down a little or get a new pc

I actually have to agree with OP, it's pretty shameful to release a game plagued by so many issues. It's a great game but ffs it needed another 2-3 months being quality tested.

- I still cannot add and play with friends
- I must have lost around 10-15% of my progress due to disconnects and now since 1.000.004 3 out of 4 games chrashed/froze.

Why is there no re-connect option still?

op hope you werent looking for sympathy in a pub forum lol this can happen in any game you play outside more than this one. Frankly I am im amazement how much goes on inside this game that it holds together as well as it does with butter smooth gameplay. Tons of issues to fix agree but game usually amounts to very much fun.

They have a bunch of people testing the Support Stratagems to see if theyre causing crashes.
Seems like its part of it.
Its among the reasons why your Exo-Suit can be called down broken and blow up when it lands.

dude atleast you get to desktop, everytime mine crashes the pc needs a full hard reset. cant go a day without the game freezing, drivers are up too date, pc is getting properly ventilated, and graphics are to the lowest setting, just last night my friend threw lightning infront of me and my entire pc froze.

Uh? Almost nothing goes on in this game, it's a horde shooter with simple time-sink objectives that don't go further than "insert combination" or "interact with X triggers".

And good part of that has issues.
What's Factorio then? A paradox lol?

If anything I'd argue the simplicity of the game is both part of why it had so much success and why it can actually run on it's dead engine.

My game is also crashing since the patch but its worse. It crashes about 20 seconds into getting on my ship. Its consistent only in that it crashes. Its done it in the menus. While looking at my Strategems, and even when trying to select a mission.

Just for reference, I had only one hard crash to desktop while playing the previous 20 hours on my account. But since then, I can't do anything. And games like Dragon's Dogma 2 don't have this issue so its not a overheating or configuration issue either.

I'm genuinely confused.

My game both crashes to desktop and hard resets the PC. It's a good pc and have no issues with other games. I know many people dont have any issues but again many of us do. And it's pretty obvious it's to do with the game not our machines. 12th Gen CPU with 3080TI I am having issues... No point on playing until somethings are fixed :/ Shame really great game!

Stfu it's not about PC it's about dog poop optimization my PC can be ♥♥♥♥ but other well made game will still run anyway maybe at 15 fps but it won't crash this game you can play it smoothly and it'll crash anyway it's not PC problem it's the spaghetti coding

This won't be a popular post but I've been playing on and off for about 10 days now and I've never had a single crash. Not ever. Now that doesn't mean that you guys aren't *but* it just means that it's not unreasonable to think that the developers haven't encountered the issues that you guys are having during their own testing. For all that makes PC gaming better than console gaming, the virtually limitless combination of hardware/software can make finding, reproducing and fixing issues like this very hard. And in some cases, it might not even be a problem in the developers code but rather a combination of other things that are unique (or at least not common) about your PC. When the game is crashing, I hope you guys are submitting crash reports and DXDiag output to the developers.

From my experience the Tesla weapons still crash the game so i suggest not using them. Every time i crash is because am using a Tesla weapon.
