maybe like in payday 2 where you play mission after mission with a new stacking modifier after every game and you get ranked by the amount of missions you finish before failing
Holding out as long as you can since game kinda already does it but of course it "ends"
Maybe even little side objectives like uploading a crash pod or something like that to give players something to do other than sitting in the main objective with every stratagem being a mortar but if it's getting too much then players can simply order the extraction.
I could see it being a possibility.
Maybe samples grow in specific places after like 5 minutes? That would be something.
Minutes Survived x 500 Credits or something like that would be based or medals for every 5-10 mins you survived
