For the love of god, fix spewers.
Seriously, there are a few problems with spewers that just make high tier bug missions completely ridiculous.

The first is the fact that spewer's damage do not in any way seem to correspond with their attack animation. There have been countless times where I have inarguably dodged the stream of bile and yet still die to it.

The second is that spewers are way to good at tracking you with their bile attack. There have been numerous times where I have dove behind a spewer when their attack starts and somehow they manage to whip that crap around nearly 120 degrees to still hit me. It's ridiculous and completely broken.

The third and most obvious to anyone who plays high tier bugs missions, there's just too damn many of them. Spewers don't spawn on every mission but when they do, by god do they. I have had missions where I have had no less than 20 nursing spewers chasing me and by the time I manage to kill one, two more take it's place. The game becomes rather unenjoyable when I can't shoot enemies because I have to spend 100% of my time merely trying to dodge the constant stream of bile being shot at me during those missions. Nursing spewers are almost as if not as much of a pain to deal with as chargers, so why in the hell do they spawn at like 10x the frequency on the missions where they do spawn?

Seriously, spewers need some serious work because as of current their problems are really ruining a lot of the enjoyment.

Before the "git gud" trollers come

Even me the autoCannon addicted-user
is annoyed by them


SUUUUUUUUUURE the autoCannon, is NUMBER 1 to counter them
But unlike "ignorant" morale high ground bug-spies, that DONT USE autocannon,
AUTOCANNON need 2-3 SHOTS FOR EACH,
DESPITE THE FRAGILE-LOOKING SACK


Even if i am accustomed to "reload half way" to x2 boost reload, ITS STILL A PAIN
to shoot so many of them
in diff7+

If you have 20 of any significantly sized bug chasing you, it's your own fault, if you tried killing them they wouldn't amass such numbers in the first place. Here's a tip OP, you're armed with several guns, those are quite good at reducing the number of enemies present.

Sounds like skill issue, my guy. Grenade launcher is the perfect weapon for this bugs. 2 shots and all spewers in general vicinity will pop.

Nah, being young diver though so myself, but later switched to GL. Airburst is also very good against them
Big area coverage and guaranteed dead spewers with all other bugs up to medium ones

concept wise, i think their problem is their form. they look so fragile, yet they're tanky, fast, and deadly, so they should change the form to maybe a different kind of bug.

with that being said, i think their spew tracking is too OP. it should be reworked.

No, it is not a "me" problem. I do try killing them but again, you only have so many explosives and the rate at which they spawn on 7 and above is ridiculous.

I am well versed in using my guns to kill bugs, I routinely have more kills than all three of my teammates combined, so it's not like I'm just running around not shooting things. Problem is spewers spawn in at such a high rate it's damn near impossible to deal with them, especially on eradicate missions.

I shouldn't have to be forced to bring a specific "meta" weapon just to not be overrun by spewers. This is one of the largest issues I have with games, the design of the game pigeonholing you into only using a specific loadout and never giving you the chance to use the countless other weapons.

The game design should not force me to bring a grenade launcher every mission just in case there are spewers, that is poor game design

Yeah, airburst wonderful, except for the slight issue that it has a massive area and will kill you aswell unless they are 50m+ away from you. It does't work well when theya re already chasing you.

The tracking is the most ridiculous part, it makes them borderline impossible to dodge.

This is also an issue with the bile titan where you can get killed by their spew even if you're well outside of it's visual range and the fact that it slows you regardless of where you are is just annoying. You can be behind it and it's bile still somehow slows you.

the thing that makes alot of the fighting difficult in the higher levels with more bugs is that theyre able to clip through each others dead bodys and use it for cover because we cant shoot nor pass through them ourselves. making it seems as if it is more enemys than normmal and also making it seem as our shots arent doing anything.

Only thing i hate against spewers is the insta one shot if he sneaks up on you from side and the cobby shots from like 100m away. Especially when you extract and there are like 40 spewers just bombing you. Other then that they easy to deal with.
I usually don't have to much problems in helldives, but i also adjust to the team comp, if no one has grenade launcher or auto cannon, i go for it. So if you have a nice balanced team its not that bad.

There are explosives available as primary weapons, support weapons, sentry stratagems, orbital stratagems, eagle stratagems, and (godforbid) enplacement stratagems. You should be bringing stun grenades (zero damage) to high difficulty levels anyway.

And once again someone forgets that this is coop game. There are 3 more guys with you. Communicate and adjust your loadouts
Why everyone always tries to do everything alone even in a full team
Also, spewers are slow, try W+shift in different direction
