How many players are really affected?

Everyone is crying about the PSN account enforcement like if 9 out of their 10 friend were about to get booted from the game. I would like to see a number of players which will not be able to play. Without this number, all this drama is just ridiculous.

Its about the principal. Even if its just 10 or so percent of players they dont deserve such treatment. Not to mention its not just the people blocked some just dont want psn as service even if they could.

When a company has been hacked several times its normal to have trust issues and not wanting to give them your data.

Game is sold in over 190 countries.

Only 69 of them can make a PSN account. Some of those require very sensitive information or requires the account be made on a console because it's blocked from being made on PC.

That's extortion and fraud. It doesn't matter the number, the act must be punished.

Especially since they ask you for a picture of your identity . some time ago my buddy had his playstation account hijacked along with $700 from his bank account shortly after .

100% of players are affected. It doesn't matter if some percentage of them are willing to roll over and pay a personal data ransom by linking an account.

Chinese and Russian players will be the most effected. Not sure there's many players in piss poor countries like Sudan.
