Sorry, but I'm past the point of giving a damn about hurting feelings here. This guy's a coward and a liar, no two ways about it.

He spent eight years on this, and all he's got to show is a bug-riddled disaster. His game crashes more than a carnival ride, what a freaking "achievement". The Arrowheads communication skills are a joke—they have been on an ego trip, ignoring all the feedback like it's beneath them.

Half a year to sort this mess out, and there was still a total c*ck-up. Mandatory account linking shouldn't have come as a surprise to anyone—he hid that on purpose, it wasn't clearly "detailed". The info was buried, not "detailed".

He's screwed over his players, and now he's playing the victim with his "life's work" crap? Bull*hit


"Temporarily suspended", huh? And when was he planning on filling in the players on when the hammer would drop again? Or was he hoping they'd forget?

I would have preferred if people in over 100 countries wouldn't have gotten screwed over.

Also, it's not "half a year to sort it out". The pure volume of connections on launch was too much. They made a fast call to allow people to play and we were informed at that moment. There was no follow up on that subject since this week's announcement though, and that is what he is referring to when he was saying yesterday that the he could have ensured people understood better.

Were you there at launch? It was unplayable and people had trouble to even get in the game because of the sheer volume of players which was unexpected. They made modifications to reduce the load to allow player to play. Removing psn connection requirement was one of the mesures

So they botched the launch because they didn't prepare their infrastructure properly, only to make a temporary measure which was completely forgotten about and then brought it back up to screw EVEN MORE people over.

Also why was it sold in those countries in the first place???

AFAIK, the devs were genuinely unaware or at least claim to have been unaware of the amount of countries this would just lock out.
And as we can see by recent actions, sony (publishers, responsible for sales) are very much capable of suspending sales in the excluded countries, so if anything, that part is very much on sony.

Iv crashed quite a bit on Helldivers2 and most times i get a black-screen and appear on the ship like nothing happened.

Helldivers 2 is an early access game imo.

Its weird how they forgot to think about PSN accounts not being available to the places they sold the game.
