I get that it's annoying to have to sign up for a PlayStation Network account just to play Helldivers 2, and every update seems to push some buttons on you guys. But honestly, review bombing and flipping out on forums isn't the way to go. It messes with the game’s ratings and can turn off new players who might actually love it.

Setting up a PSN account actually has its perks, like the devs being able to ban people easily. Plus, when the devs update the game, they're usually trying to fix bugs or add cool stuff, not mess us up.

Really, what it boils down to is that making a big deal out of the requirement to have a PlayStation Network account and getting fired up about every update might feel good in the moment, but it doesn't do much to help the situation.

And about the updates—sure, they can be a bit of a hassle sometimes, especially if you just want to jump in and play. But those updates are usually about improving the game, fixing bugs that everyone hates, balancing and adding new content that keeps things interesting.
