How should I write my refund letter?
I've tried over and over and steam customer service just refuses to provide me with a refund on the grounds that the game is over 2 hours long. How do I get a refund for the game?
After all, Spitz, the community manager, left a message in Discord demanding that I get a refund and get the hell out of Super Earth.:steamhappy:

If you are in Europe, says you want a refund due to the terms being changed and GDPR, previously it was stated that a PSN account was optional and it was changed on May 3 to be mandatory.

If you live outside the PSN area, say that you can no longer play the game, and your game access has been revoked due to the changes.

If you live in any area where it's mandatory to have a console to make a PSN account, say that you don't own a console, so your access has been revoked.

If you live anywhere else... not sure what you can do.

Subject: Request for Refund Due to GDPR Compliance Issues

Dear Steam Support Team,

I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to request a refund for my purchase of "Helldivers 2".

I was informed that the game now requires linking to a PlayStation Network (PSN) account as of May 3rd due to changes in the game's requirements. This new requirement was not clearly stated at the time of purchase, and as a user concerned with data privacy, I am particularly cautious about linking accounts due to the implications it may have under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

According to Steam's refund policy and considering the game's recent change in data handling requirements, which directly affects user privacy and GDPR compliance, I kindly request a full refund to my original payment method.

I appreciate your understanding and prompt handling of this issue. Please let me know if you require any more details from my end to facilitate this request.

Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Best regards

Subject: Refund Request Due to Regional Restrictions and Loss of Game Access

Dear Steam Support Team,

I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to request a refund for my purchase of "Helldivers 2".

I was informed that the game now requires linking to a PlayStation Network (PSN) account as of May 3rd due to changes in the game's requirements.

Upon trying to comply with this new requirement, I discovered that my region is not eligible for PSN access, effectively revoking my ability to play "Helldivers 2" despite having legally purchased it through Steam. This critical change in game access requirements was not disclosed at the time of purchase, and had I been aware, I would not have proceeded with the transaction.

This situation leaves me unable to use the product I purchased, which seems to contravene the principles of fair access and consumer rights, particularly for customers in regions without PSN support. Therefore, I am requesting a full refund to my original method of payment, as the product is unusable under the current conditions.

I appreciate your understanding and prompt handling of this issue. Please let me know if you require any more details from my end to facilitate this request.

Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Best regards

Just request a refund and point them towards their own steam forums. You'll be right.
