SONY just stopped selling this game in *some* countries
basically SONY limited sales of game in non-PSN supported countries.

now players will be FORCED to somehow link accounts anyway and on top of that your friends can't buy it to play with you :D what is thiiiiis? :D

I'm from one of these countries and I can't see "add to cart" option under game, can't buy as gift for friend...

Even if you could buy it there is a problem. VPN both for playing and creating accounts are not meant to be used for such products. Sony and valve have a problem with that. So unless you move to a different country there is no legal way to get the game now for you. Unless ps5 is an option as some countries dont have pc but ps5 support.

No refunds (unless valve is in a good mood, literally the only company here that cares at all about its customers). They got your money and your stats to scam the shareholders, they do not care one bit anymore LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL.

This one is not asking for a refund. They ask for the game to be back up for purchase in a place not supporting psn If i understand it they own the game and want to gift it.

Only option that might help is to send that friend a gift card but unless things change they only have a bit under a month to play with that friend.

Actually, if it will go wild, it can be legit case for shareholders to sue Sony.

It's kinda insane if they're actually willing to lose out on all these international markets just to implement some third party service nobody likes.

Even if you're taking Sony in bad faith that they're just doing this to harvest consumer data and making it slightly easier to ban players, it all seems kinda stupid and a net loss for everyone.

There has to be something else going on for Sony to be this aggressive.

Sell game worldwide and make a bunch of money.

or

Restrict game to specific regions to sell their data, and ban your players for speech.

Tough choices!

They're still butthurt over the Starfield exclusive.

Honestly the only good theory I've heard is some moron middle manager probably had a KPI to get PSN engagement up, so they're resorting to tricks like this to fudge the numbers with no real concern about any blow back.

btw, if youd fake your country origin youd probably get banned so it would be a scam anyway

They literally stopped selling the game in the entire world except like 15 countries. It sounds straight out of an antiutopia novel tbh.

Can't wait for a new policy change where you need to be a amember of a closed elite society consisting of like 100 people worldwide (everyone has to pass a DNA test to see if they are purely blooded native of one of the countries where you can get a PSN account) and pay a monthly fee of $150 to access the game (the small Japanese indie company still has to make a little money to feed their employees somehow).
