Ripbozo to HD o7
If AH were to change publishers they would no longer have access to HD.
They have, but you can quit it. Then you have to pay the fine. After that you can go on.
Did not stop Spin Tires becoming Mud Runner and subsequently Snow Runner. If they really wanted out, they could drop the contract and make a clone under another name.
Sony actually owns the IP. AH just has the license to develop the game from Sony.
AH should never work with Sony ever again after this though.
Look at anime series like Neptunia and Senran Kagura. Even if the developers want to try to save the IP, they can't. Sony owns them.
