UK players have to provide a facial scan, personal phone number, or even a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ passport to make a PSN account. Who in the hell would give their drivers license or a passport photo to play a game? Not only that it is uploaded to ANOTHER website. I am done with this game after the deadline. Sony can go ♥♥♥♥ themselves.

You do not need to verify your age to create a PSN account. Please stop lying about that. Its for age verification only.

I created a PSN account 5 weeks ago and never had to add ID and I am from the UK. My account is linked and active.

It looks like it depends how you navigate to the create account page.
Some URLs add parameters that lead to extra steps in the creation process.
Going to the correct URL allows you to bypass the request for Mobile/ID/Photo

Age verification is a secondary step after account creation. It is not required. I used the setup as it is in game to create my account and link it the day I bought the game 5 weeks ago. Never once was I required to provide ID in that process. Only when I click on "age verification" does it ask for ID.

You dont have to do it. Its an extra step after the account is actually created.

As of now steps are
1. Location
2. DoB
3. Age Verification - Mobile/Photo/ID

Unless you cut everything off after the "&" in the URL, in which case it only asks for location, DoB and email

Yup. People blaming Sony for this are barking up the wrong tree big time.
