sonny has really good record of geting hacked and its user info stolen , sonny can re-sell your info to 3rd party , sonny can and will ban you with automated systems and invade your privaci to do it . if you dont belive me check out the videos .

yep im pretty sure sonny took acces from sports game that was live for like a year (not just removed from store to be purchased but actuali taken from acounts)

Community standing up for players in countries sony deem irrelevant is the right thing to do. If helldivers 2 has to die for dev and publishers to learn then so be it.

Look, I think the requirement is bad, too. But people have to face the fact that cross platform authentication has been a "thing" with games across the board from every major studio for years on steam. EVERYONE, no matter how hard they wish it not to be true, hit a PURCHASE button that was literally two inches from a big glowing REQUIRES PSN ACCOUNT TO PLAY warning.

So, even though Sony's security record is crap, agreed, it's a really really weak argument to fall back on your concern for "security" when YOU'VE JUST INSTALLED A GAME WITH KERNEL LEVEL ACCESS ANTI-CHEAT SOFTWARE EMBEDEDD IN IT. You forfeited security the moment you installed.

With the PSN account, you can create burner email from one of about 100 providers and take the 3 minutes to do it IF PLAYING THE GAME IS WORTH IT TO YOU. If it's not, don't

Of course, selling the game outside regions where PSN is available, agreed, that's something that needs to get addressed. But beyond that, people need to stop pretending that this is a shock, a "NEW" thing, or "Unfair" because they are now enforcing the requirement that they were told from the start was going to happen.

maybe it was my mistake by buying it via humble bundle but the way from purchasing there into the game and plaing it for some days hasn't given me a glimpse of information I require an 3rd party account until the yesterday's notice.

Why did you agree the requirements when you bought the game? You had your chance to take your stand there. I think there's a whole bunch of people pearl clutching right now that need to take the "get real" advice.

Even simpler, I live in Rwanda. I gifted Helldivers 2 to my friend, also living in Rwanda. My friend cannot create a PSN account, Rwanda is not an option. So basically Steam and Sony get to keep my money (it's past the 14 day refund Window), and he gets a digital paperweight, and my gift is, essentially, nothing to him except disappointment and frustration. So stupid.
