I live in the Philippines. I just attempted to create a PS account and it says "not allowed to be created in the Philippines". There are many countries around the world that do not allow it for whatever reason. It's not quite as simple as "just create it and stop crying"

If they set a rule and don't enforce it for 3 months then it was a false rule. Especially when they've been actively selling the game to people who can't make a playstation account in their country for those 3 months.

Only 69 out of 195 countries allow for a psn account, and Helldivers was sold in 190 countries. That's active players from 121 countries that are being cut off and will no longer able to support Supper Earth.

So to all those people out there just saying "make an account", "it's not a big deal", you're either pretty thoughtless or heartless.

Creating a PSN account and linking it to your Steam will put you under PSN Terms of Conduct. Meaning you can get banned for calling your best friend a slur, or being offensive amongst them.

It is stated, clearly in the PSN terms of conduct, and I QUOTE:

"There are no exceptions for using hateful language or slurs in any form on PSN, even if the context is lighthearted, non-serious, or used as reappropriation. While players may think it's appropriate to use profanity among friends or jokingly insult each other, there are consequences to posting offensive content or using offensive language on psn. The PlayStation Network Code of Conduct applies whether or not the hate speech is directed towards a specific player or audience."

Meaning if I went through this "Trivial" effort to create an account, I would be banned in days due to the nature of how my friends and I act.
